T47 is a new bottom bracket standard, currently popular with custom frame builders and starting to be adopted by larger frame manufacturers. Fitted with high quality seals and bearings, our T47 Bottom brackets share the same high-quality design and durability as the rest of our range. Our solution for running a 30mm spindle crankset in a BSA threaded frame. Machined aluminum cups thread in to a standard threaded frame and feature Enduro 6806 ABEC-3 sealed bearings outboard of the BB shell. Fully serviceable. Notes: For use with 30mm diameter cranks with a spindle length of at least 104mm when used in a 68mm wide BB shell. This is the overall spindle length with all spacers and adjusters removed from the spindle. Measurement is taken from the inside face of the crank arm to the very end of the spindle. The EVO386 standard is designed for oversized spindles. CeramicSpeed's kit for Shimano allows you to install Shimano or FSA cranks with 24mm spindles. The cups come with CeramicSpeed Bearings installed. Both CeramicSpeed Standard and Coated Bearings are available. Both utilize super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The latter has an additional metallic coating on the races to further smooth and harden the steel, further increasing life and lowering drag. The design of overlapping cups extending through the shell for EVO386 reduce the likelihood of creaking and increase the reliability of the system. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings feature an average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock bottom brackets. That translates into frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which is the result of great design, hardened-steel races, and ceramic balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings are a step up as they reduce drag by 50% compared to our Standard Bearings and an improvement in bearing life by 60%. All Round Grease comes standard in the bearings, but can be replaced for lower drag TT and Track Grease or higher durability LongLife Grease, which adds a bit of drag but stays in the bearing when riding through messy conditions. The PF30 standard is widely used. To make it compatible with Shimano and other 24mm diameter cranks, as well as improve the system, select this bottom bracket. The package comes with two cups and CeramicSpeed Bearings installed. The cups have extended inner sleeves and join with a center section, reducing the likelihood of creaking and increasing the reliability of the system while also eliminating spindle rub on internal cables. The cups mate with 24/22mm crank spindles. There are two bearing options. Both Standard and Coated Bearings feature super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings have an additional feature: a 3-micron thick metallic layer over the races. This addition makes the races smoother and harder, lowering drag and increasing life. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have only 0.3-0.4 watts of frictional drag per set, an average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock bottom brackets. This is the result of great design, including hardened-steel races and CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. They also last longer. The PF4130 bottom bracket is Press Fit into 41mm diameter shells that are 86.5mm wide and mate most cranks with a 30mm spindle to that standard. If you have a BB86 frame and want to install a 386EVO crank or Rotor 30mm crank, this is the kit you need. CeramicSpeed bearings are installed in cups. The Standard Bearing has ceramic CeramicSpeed balls and hardened-steel races. The Coated Bearing has the same balls running on hardened-steel races with a 3-micron-thick metallic coating making the races harder and smoother, increasing service life and reducing friction. Enjoying the benefit of a massive, strong, and light 30mm crank spindle in your BB86 frame is possible with this kit. Press in the cups, set up the wave washer, add spacers if necessary, and torque down. CeramicSpeed's bottom bracket is also stiff and light, but its greatest benefits come in the form of drag reduction. Standard Bearings with stock grease typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's about a 75% drag reduction compared to conventional bottom brackets. The bearings also last at least three times longer than other bearings. Performance can be tuned by replacing grease. All Round comes with this BB, but you can change it to TT and Track Grease for less drag or to LongLife for greater durability.
